You are hereby summoned to attend the next Meeting of Scotton Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 5th January 2023 commencing at 6.00pm in the Village Hall, Northorpe Road, Scotton DN21 3RB. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda. There will be a 15-minute public forum between 6.00pm and 6:15pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

 

Please do not attend; if you have a diagnosis of coronavirus and are self-isolating; have been in contact with a confirmed case and test positive; if you are showing symptoms of a new cough, a new onset of shortness of breath, or had a fever within the last 48 hours.

1. Chairman’s opening remarks and start of public session. (15 minutes)
Questions or representations for co-option may be heard during the public session. Any reports from Councillors or the Police will follow.

2. Apologies for absence and acceptance of any reasons given

3.  To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensation
Disclosures may be made at any point in the meeting and a Councillor may leave the meeting or be asked to leave if dispensation has not been granted or if would be deemed prejudicial to proceedings.

4. Notes of the last meeting held on 1st December 2022 to be approved as minutes

5.  Finance
a. To note payments and approve expenditure for January 2023
b. To note budget against spending reports

6. To note amendment to the preliminary budget 2023-24

7. To approve and sign the final precept demand for 2023-24

8. To approve amendments to the Banking mandate
a. To remove Alan Robinson as signatory
b. The addition of Cllr. Dr. Johnson as a full signatory with permission to apply for internet signatory privileges

9. To receive grant applications and consider any actions
