Residents are invited to attend a Meeting of Scotton Parish Council to be held at Scotton Village Hall, Northorpe Road, Scotton DN21 3RB on Thursday 3rd March 2022 at 6.00pm.

Public Questions Time (15 minutes)

Members of the public are invited to speak during public question time.  The Council is not required to give an immediate answer to a question or debate it at the meeting. Once the Council has begun the meeting, members of the public are welcome to remain but may not participate further. There are occasions when the public and press may be excluded from a meeting due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed.

The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

Reports from County and District Councillors, or representatives from outside bodies and the Police may be given during this time.

8. To consider quotes received for the grass cutting tender and appoint a contractor (report circulated prior to the meeting)

a) To review and discuss the proposed ‘Scotton Orchard’ tender and agree any actions
b) To hear any updates about the Orchard site from Cllr. R. Walker
c) To consider rental fees for the field allotments
d) Any other allotment matters

10. To hear any updates on SID purchase and consider any actions

11. To receive any updates about the West Lindsey grant application for purchase of benches for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and consider the actions below:-
a) To consider if the Council wishes to continue with the project should the grant application be unsuccessful or if the allocation is less than amount requested
b) To consider the Council’s allocation of funding towards the project and agree the budget from the precept, to cover the balance of the project’s costs.
c)To approve the make and model of benches listed and to delegate authority to Cllr. R. Walker and the Clerk to purchase benches – should the grant application be successful; and if necessary to amend the make and model according to availability, within the budget allocated.

12. To hear any updates on the bench which is to be donated and sited on land near kiosk
