Public Questions Time (15 minutes)
Members of the public are invited to speak during public question time. The Council is not required to give an immediate answer to a question or debate it at the meeting. Once the Council has begun the meeting, members of the public are welcome to remain but may not participate further. There are occasions when the public and press may be excluded from a meeting due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed.
The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda. Reports from County and District Councillors, or representatives from outside bodies and the Police may be given during this time.

5. Scotton Beck
a) To hear the proposals by Scotter Parish Council to improve flow of water in the Beck. Invited speakers: Cllr. L. Rollings (WLDC), John Coggin (Local farmer) & Cllr. Paul Wood – (Flood Committee member Scotter Parish Council) (15mins max)
b) To discuss the proposals and ask any questions to the invited speakers
6. Clerk’s report
- Thank you to Cllr. A. Ramsay for taking delivery of the free grit and topping up grit bins in readiness for colder weather. It is very much appreciated.Clerk attended the ‘Networking Day’ and was awarded a certificate for completing ‘Prevent Training’.

7. Finance matters

To review amended budget and raise any budgeting issues.

To discuss and sign the final precept demand
10. Allotment
a) To discuss tender requirements for Recreation ground and allotment orchard site. To include descriptions of tasks, when and how often work should commence, access to site for site machinery etc.
b) To hear any further updates about the fruit tree planting, storage, and delivery etc.
c) To discuss amending allotment rules with the additional clauses 7.3 – 8.4 barring any shooting and mistreatment of wild animals to include mammal, avian, reptile and amphibian groups
d) To discuss if the parish wishes to become involved in the ‘Zero Carbon Parish Project’

a) Eau Valley Singer’s group emailed to thank the Council for the cabinet.
b) Resident emailed to complain about slippery surface on PROW Westgate to Middle St. Reported to Countryside Access LCC.
12. Any updates about the purchase of a bench for the Recreation Ground to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
