You are hereby summoned to attend the next Meeting of Scotton Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 1st December 2022 commencing at 6.00pm in the Village Hall, Northorpe Road, Scotton DN21 3RB. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda. AGENDA

1. Chairman’s opening remarks and start of public session. (15 minutes)
Any reports from Councillors or the Police will be heard after the public session.

2. Apologies for absence and acceptance of any reasons given

3.  To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensation
Disclosures may be made at any point in the meeting and a Councillor may leave the meeting or be asked to leave if dispensation has not been granted or if would be deemed prejudicial to proceedings.
a. To confirm accuracy of current Register of Interest forms for serving Councillors

4. Notes of the last meeting held on 3rd November 2022 to be approved as minutes

5.  Clerks report
Thanks go to Andy Ramsay for continuing to store the grit received last year and checking the level of grit in bins. He will keep topping up as needed until stock of grit is depleted.

6. Finance
a. To approve expenditure for December 2022

7. To receive written applications for the office of Parish councillor and to Co-opt a candidate to fill the existing vacancy

8. To review the Co-option procedures policy and consider any changes

9. Village Amenities
a. Field Agreement
i.  To receive clerk’s report and consider recommendations
ii. To consider the proposed 5-year Farm agreement submitted by Cllr. R. Walker and agree any actions
iii. Any other allotment matters
b. Community Orchard                       
To hear any updates and discuss any maintenance issues arising  

10. To discuss the flooding on Beck Lane and consider any actions (Cllr R Walker)

11. To consider the tree on Westfield (Cllr S Walker)

12. To hear any reports from the Village Hall Management Committee – Cllr. S. Walker
