6 Matters To Be Discussed
6.1 Clerk’s Resignation – Accepted and notices to be put on boards etc.
6.2 Beck Lane – Cllr B Hill reported that the Tree Warden, R Ramsay, had I indicated that the fallen trees and debris be left to encourage insects etc.
Mr Williams is to deal with any unsafe branches and LWT are dealing with some dangerous trees on their side. One bench is to be refurbished and another to have the vegetation cut back round it. The path is good and dry but unfortunately horses are using this area and making deep ruts which hold water. Council are going to look at the options available to make this area not suitable for riding.
6.3 Planning 138420 – WLDC have refused this planning.
6.4 Planning 138595 – No comments to be returned
6.5 Planning 138530 – No comments to be returned
6.6 Red Cross First Aid – Wednesday 23rd January in Village Hall at 2pm.
Clerk has a list of people who wish to attend.
6.7 EMCLG Community Housing Roadshow
Cllr Littlewood attended this and explained the ideal of Community Housing. He will provide more in depth information when he receives the details from the meeting. It was agreed that the NDP should be made aware of this.

8.1 Village hall
The forthcoming quiz was discussed and the Carol Singing on 17th.
The heating costs are causing concern.
9 Other Matters
The sign on Westgate has now totally disappeared. Clerk to report to WLDC.
Mr Williams is to be asked to remove the diseased tree on Dooks Close.
Clerk was asked to find a list of TPO’s in the village and the conditions regarding trimming/removal etc.
Notice of Road Closure on Eastgate has been received and is to be put on board.
