2 Minutes August Meeting
The minutes were duly signed and agreed

3 Matters To Be Discussed
3.1 Application For Current Vacancy For A Councillor
Council were pleased to welcome Mr Robert Littlewood to the meeting.
Mr Littlewood had expressed an interest in becoming a councillor and was duly elected to the post, filled in the Declaration of Acceptance and took the Register of Interest Forms to be completed and returned to the Clerk.
Proposed: Cllr Mr Clarke; Seconded: Cllr C Wood. Duly elected. **
3.2 NPower
As the Chair has been in contact with Npower but no satisfactory conclusion has been reached it was agreed that the Clerk should contact the District and County Councillor to ask for their advice.

3.3 Tree Damage On Beck Lane And Re Establishment Of Recreation Area
Clerk was asked to contact Mr Ramsay to try and arrange a meeting to discuss the best way forward to re-establish the Recreation Area.

4 Finance – Cheques Authorised
4.1 Grounds Maintenance - £320
4.2 Clerk bi monthly salary & expenses - £280 (September & October).
5 Precept
As there will be a lot of expense regarding maintenance of the Recreation Area and because of cutbacks at Highways, Mr Williams is now undertaking much more grass cutting etc, it was agreed that the Estimate Precept be returned asking for £9000. **
6 Village Hall
Clerk was asked to contact Mr M Schofield and ask for a breakdown of running costs for the play area etc. The Council will be establishing their budget in November and it is vital that they have an indication as to how much financial support they will have to provide. **
It was agreed that the meeting to be held on 1st January be cancelled.
Dates for 2019 to be circulated.
